Marshmallow Fudge

2 c. sugar
12 marshmallows
small can of evaporated milk.

Boil and stir constantly until marshmallows melt.
In a large bowl have:
6 oz. chocolate chips
½ c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Pour marshmallow mixture in a bowl and stir it all up until chocolate has melted.
Add 1 c. chopped nuts if desired.
This is another one from my grandmother, Kate.  She used it to frost chocolate cakes or as candy.  When it was candy, it might go in a loaf pan to be cut in squares like fudge or spoonsful dropped on wax paper with a half a pecan on top to be chocolate drops.
